La Pachanga! Mexican Fiësta PACHANGA: hustle and bustle, party, exuberant fun. In Mexico, the word Pachanga is used to describe a big party, with lots of music, dancing, food and drink until dawn, which can last for days. This type of music has a party style and is lively, with teasing and naughty lyrics, as Celia Cruz describes: Pachanga is a freer chachacha, more open, prone to different steps and, therefore, more popular because it is danceable.
