Friday starts in the afternoon with Intree Festival, one of the biggest events of Intreeweek! On this day, we turn a ice skating ring into a lively festival with music, entertainment & food! Gather your group and enjoy everything the festival has to offer. Dinner is included as well.



Intree Festival

Intreeweek is the official introduction week for new bachelor students at the University of Amsterdam. Each year, we welcome more than four thousand participants, as well as one thousand mentors, staff and crew members! We are already working hard on 2024's edition and we cannot wait to welcome even more students.  

Intreeweek 2024 will feature 19 amazing events from August 26th till August 30th, ranging from cultural events all the way to the best parties! The ticket sale will start on July 4th. Be sure to follow our socials to keep up-to-date!

Yes, you have to be in Amsterdam during Intreeweek. All events of Intreeweek 2024 will take place in Amsterdam. It is possible to sleep outside of Amsterdam, just be sure to check whether this is practical or not (travel distance, public transport, etc.). In addition, we offer a limited amount of places to sleep in the USC sports hall at the UvA Science Park. You can purchase this option when buying a ticket for Intreeweek.  

P.S. A bike is very handy to have during the week (and in general).

Yes, we offer one (vegetarian) meal every day, with vegan options at some events. We are determined to improve our vegan & gluten-free selection. However, it is not possible this year to reach a 100% vegan menu. Some events will also include 3rd party vendors, allowing you to buy additional delicious food!

No, it is completely up to you which events you visit! The only mandatory event is the Registration on Monday, where you will receive your digital wristband as well as meet your Intreeweek group. We recommend you to follow the group during the week to create fun and lasting memories!
