Galit Zadok is a recorder and historical bassoon player and is the (co-)musical director of the early music ensembles we’N band and La Voz Humana. Punto Bawono is a lute and baroque guitar player, having studied in Milan and performs as a lute-song accompanist and a basso continuo player with various musicians and ensembles around Europe, such as ensemble Nordic Pulse, Fuse Ensemble, and Nederland Blazers Ensemble.Galit & Punto are core members of La Voz Humana (est. 2018). The ensemble is dedicated to the historically informed performance of baroque music and to research, discover, and perform (neglected) Iberian and Latin American baroque music from the 17th and early 18th century.

Twice a month join us to celebrate local contemporary jazz in one of Amsterdam’s newest hidden gems – Brokers Bar, in the historic Beurs van Berlage. Enjoy some of the city’s best jazz talent while drinking delicious cocktails in a gorgeous venue with stunning views of centraal!

Our next show is on July 19th at 20:00 and will feature Imprevisti. Imprevisti is a collision of musicians from different backgrounds who have come together to realise the compositional vision of Lorenzo Servali. This band takes its name from an Italian word: unexpected events.At its core, the soul of the music lies with the immortal Bologna-grown singer-songwriter Lucio Dalla, with a Coltrane-powered message in a Pino Daniele tarumbò-style ambience, brought into the modern spectrum of sounds inspired by the productions of Moby and Massive Attack. The music of Lorenzo is nostalgic of intimate and warm memories. His music is universal and his capacity to collaborate has caused his music to carry the influence of his co-musicians and direct musical environment.

After the concert, the music will continue into the night with an open session where all musicians are welcome to participate and jam with other talented musicians.

The David Saruchanov Trio presents original material from David’s latest projects and some new works, blending lyrical melodies with rhythmic complexity, and offering listeners a sound that is both exploratory and grounded.

Amsterdam-based **pianist and composer, David Saruchanov,** leads his trio with Ton Felices on double bass and Wouter Kühne on drums. Known for his rich harmonic language and emotionally charged playing, David brings a distinct voice to contemporary jazz, balancing detailed composition with spontaneous improvisation.

Italian jazz pianist and vocalist Federica Lorusso resides in the heart of the Red Light District. At Meet Berlage, in The Brokers Bar, she will perform with her trio, presenting selections from her latest albums. Incontri (released in February 2025 by ZenneZ Records) and her 2022 debut Outside Introspections along with exciting new material!

For her performance, Federica will be joined by drummer Egidio Gentile and double bassist Mauro Cottone.
