About

De Avond van de Filmmuziek started in 2014 in Het Concertgebouw, with a one-off edition. The event has now grown into the largest film music event in Europe and has become an indispensable part of the Ziggo Dome programming. 2023 was also a real success year with no fewer than three sold-out concerts. During the Evening of Film Music there are always a number of permanent fixtures present: the Grammy Award-winning Metropole Orchestra conducted by Jules Buckley and presenter Dominic Seldis. They will be present again next year, during the 10-year anniversary edition, as will the Groot Omroepkoor. During the festive evening the very best film music in the world will be played.
